This policy describes the personal data S2Swap collects when you use s2swap.com, why it is collected, and the services that process it. It is written from how the service actually works; sections marked legal review describe rights and obligations that depend on applicable law and are subject to review.

1. Data we collect

Account registration

When you create an account the registration form can collect your first, second and last name, phone number, together with your e-mail address and password.

Exchange orders

Each order stores the details needed to process it: the amounts and currencies, the wallet address or payment account you send from and receive to (for example a Jazz Cash or EasyPaisa number, a bank account, a PayPal or Skrill e-mail, or a crypto address), your e-mail and phone, your IP address, browser information, country, and the order’s status history.

Identity verification (KYC)

Where verification applies (see the AML/KYC policy), the verification form asks for your name and father’s name, ID card or passport number, address, mobile number, a photo of you holding your national ID, the front and back of your ID document, and a utility bill or bank statement. These files are stored in a directory that is not accessible from the web.

Support and chat

Messages you send through the contact form or the on-site chat widget, including any order ID you inсlude, are stored so that we can answer you.

Cookies and technical data

The site sets a session coоkie, a platform session identifier and a language-preference coоkie so that your login, order flow and chosen language work. Server logs record IP addresses, requested pages and user-agent strings for security and error diagnosis.

Advertising

Some guide and news pages may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites and to measure them. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Order, account and exchange pages do not carry advertising.

2. Why we use it

  • To verify identity where the AML/KYC policy requires it and to prevent fraud and misuse.

  • To measure how the website is used, in aggregate.

3. Services that process data on our behalf

  • Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) — website usage statistics.
  • Cloudflare — the site is delivered through Cloudflare’s network, which sees connection data such as your IP address.
  • Live-chat widget served from crm.s2swap.com — chat messages and the page you were on.
  • The exchange platform vendor — the software S2Swap runs on loads a sсript from the vendor’s domain as part of its licensing.
  • Payment systems and blockchain networks involved in your order necessarily receive the payment details required to complete it.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Order and verification records are kept for as long as needed to complete, support and account for exchanges and to meet legal obligations. Specific retention periods: legal review.

5. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. Requests go through the contact form. The legal basis and applicable rights depend on the law that governs the service: legal review.
