USDT is the same dollar on every network, but moving it is not the same price. The network you pick decides the transfer fee, the confirmation time and, if you choose wrongly, whether the coins arrive at all. This 2026 comparison covers the networks S2Swap supports for USDT orders and how to pick one.

USDT networks compared

Network Address looks like Typical transfer fee Typical confirmation Good for
Tron (TRC20) Starts with T Low; a few USDT at most, often less on exchanges 1–3 minutes Most PKR exchanges; S2Swap’s recommended network
TON UQ… / EQ… Very low (cents) Seconds to a minute Telegram-wallet users
Solana Base58 string Very low (cents) Seconds Users already on Solana wallets
Polygon 0x… Low (cents) 1–2 minutes EVM wallet users avoiding Ethereum fees
Arbitrum 0x… Low Under a minute EVM users holding USDT on layer 2
Ethereum (ERC20) 0x… Highest; varies with network congestion 1–5 minutes Large transfers where fee share is small
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) 0x… Low Under a minute Binance users; check the route supports it

Fees are the network’s or exchange’s at the time of writing and move with congestion; your wallet or exchange shows the exact fee before you confirm.

Exchange withdrawal fee vs network fee

If you withdraw from an exchange, you pay the exchange’s withdrawal fee, which is a fixed amount per network and can be higher than the raw network cost. Binance, Bybit and OKX each publish their table; TRC20 is usually among the cheapest for USDT on all of them. If you send from a self-custody wallet, you pay the network fee itself, in the network’s coin (TRX for Tron, ETH for Ethereum, and so on), so keep a small balance of that coin.

The expensive mistake: wrong network

The same-looking 0x address exists on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain. Sending USDT on one network to a service expecting another means the coins sit on a chain where they cannot be credited; recovery is sometimes impossible. S2Swap orders state the network; match it exactly in your wallet. Our USDT networks guide has screenshots of what each address format looks like, and the crypto wallet guide covers the send-and-receive steps.

Which network should a PKR user pick?

  • Selling USDT for PKR: use the network your USDT is already on if S2Swap lists it; otherwise TRC20. The payout rate is the same across networks on our board.
  • Buying USDT with PKR: pick the network of the wallet or exchange you will send to next. TRC20 for most exchanges; TON if your wallet is in Telegram.
  • Small amounts: avoid ERC20; the fee can be a large share of a USDT 50 transfer.

Routes by network: USDT TRC20 to JazzCash, USDT TRC20 to EasyPaisa, and the full list on USDT to PKR rate.

A note on “free” transfers

Internal transfers between two accounts on the same exchange are free because nothing moves on-chain. S2Swap is a separate service, so the transfer to us is always an on-chain withdrawal and carries the exchange’s fee. Add that fee to the order amount so the arriving USDT is not below what the order expects.
